Wootton Rivers is approximately 6 miles south of Marlborough and 4 miles north-east of Pewsey. It is a small village of about 110 houses in the wonderful Vale of Pewsey. The village has Saxon origins as can be seen in the layout of the settlements and place names. In the centre is the village pub, the Royal Oak.
At the southern edge of the village is The Kennet and Avon canal which runs parallel to the railway.

St Andrew’s church is situated at the southern end of the village on the west side of road. It is built on a mound set well back from the road.

St Andrew’s Wootton, together with Easton Royal and Milton Lilbourne, belongs to a cluster of churches, within the Pewsey & Swanborough Team.
Joint Cluster services are held on the major festivals.
At St Andrew’s we meet fortnightly on Sunday at, alternately, 9am & 10.30 am and are a small group of friendly people.

If you are travelling on the canal, visiting the area or live locally we would be very pleased to see you at our services; or, if you are not here on Sunday, feel free to drop into the church anytime for some peace & quiet.
